Operation Flashpoint 2 is the official sequel to the award winning Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis. The game is a ‘first person shooter’ and military simulator, which challenges players to survive the chaos and rapidly evolving situations of modern warfare in a new contemporary theatre.
Set on the 3rd Day of operations. The USMC Special Operations team have received intel that US prisoners are being escorted to the nearby Naval Base in a convoy. The player’s team is required to intercept the convoy, rescue the hostages and escort them through enemy territory to an Evacuation Zone 2km away.
The player is heavily armed, but heavily outnumbered on this mission. I used my spawning Library script to populate the area with a large number of enemy forces that need to be avoided. Escape via the roads is quicker but much more dangerous.
