Assassin’s Creed 2 is the second video game instalment of the Assassin’s Creed series and sequel to the 2007 hit Assassin’s Creed. Ubisoft Singapore’s involvement in the game was to create 10 linear “Assassin Tomb” levels. These levels are designed to test the free-run parkour of the Assassin in a constrained linear environment and allow the player to explore the interior of some of the most famous locations in renaissance Italy.
As I joined towards the end of production I was not directly involved in any of the levels from the conception stage, but instead helped out closing multiple levels. This included placing cameras throughout the levels to aid with gameplay, triggering FX in cutscenes and on moving objects, and bug fixing on all the levels.
